Asset Search

Arkus,
Inc. has successfully conducted asset searches in matrimonial,
litigation matters and fraud cases.
From our experience, the most common hiding places for assets are:
-
Under
aliases
-
Safe
deposit boxes
-
With
relatives, friends, and partners
-
Home and
commercial mortgages
-
Dissolved
corporations
-
Cars,
yachts, aircraft, jewelry
Our experience has shown that most of the time hidden assets such as
bank accounts, stocks, bonds, and mutual funds are liquid. Other types
of hidden assets include real property such as houses and land, as well as
vehicles. Less frequently, individuals try to move assets out of the
reach of creditors, litigants or "enemies" by hiding these assets
cleverly in such places as life insurance, annuities, offshore accounts,
mortgage or credit card pay downs, or most commonly, by transferring
assets to a spouse, friend or business entity.
